The economy here in Texas has been favorable to locals. While other states show signs of recessions, all we have seen is the loss of a few jobs, a slow-down in building of new homes, and wiser spending by all. Purchases are still taking place and prices have fallen slightly. Overall, it is a buyers market but sellers are still doing well.
