Having been in the real estate business since 1971, Joe knows that satisfied customers are a prerequisite for success. Joes success is attributable directly to the large number of satisfied customers who provide him with a significant amount of repeat and referral business. As a Realtor ® with a brokers license in CT & MA, Joe has been an active member of his professional organization (National Association of Realtors ®). At the State level, he was a member of the board of directors of the Connecticut Association of Realtors®. At the local level, he has been Director, Treasurer, Equal Housing Opportunity Chairman, Multiple Listing Committee Member, Legislative Contact Team Member, Education Committee Chairman, and Vice President of the former North Central Connecticut Board of Realtors®. After joining the Realtors® National Marketing Institute in 1992, Joe earned the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. Joe is a member of the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council and has earned the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation. As a consistent Top Producer, Joe has been Agent of the Month several times and was recipient of the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors® coveted Champagne Award. Having obtained the residential real estate appraisers license from the State of Connecticut, Joe was awarded the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers Senior Designation, Certified Real Estate Appraiser, in 1990. As a responsible member of the community, Joe has been active in local Enfield politics at the Town Committee level. He had been a Justice of the Peace, Permanent Assistant Registrar of Voters, Tobacco Valley Tourist Information and Convention Center Director, etc. Currently, Joe is an active member of The Suffield Chamber of Commerce and has served on the board of directors as treasurer. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a BSME, Joe was employed as an engineer at Hamilton Standard Division of United Technologies in Windsor Locks for five years prior to entering the real estate business. Joe and his wife, Sandy, who make their home in Suffield have four children. Cathie is a homemaker/biologist, Donna - chemist, Debbie - nurse, Jeff - college graduate 2002. Joe is most proud of his latest designation, GRANDPA. He has three grandchildren by Cathie and her husband, Keith. Anna who was born December 5, 1995, Andrew who was born July 6 1998 and Ashley born April 9, 2003. Debbie and her husband, Dave also have a child, Samantha, born December 29, 2000. Their second child, Zachary, was born March 20, 2003. Donna and her husband Mike had their first child, Michael, on July 2, 2002.
