20 Secrets things real estate agents need to know
The High Value Of Your Time
In trying to maximize what you do in your life you always need to be aware of the
HIGH VALUE OF YOUR TIME.
Other than your health, time has to be one of your most precious resources. They are just not making any more of it in your life. Now I am not one to say life is all about money and you need to be making $200 an hour from now till retirement.
BUT, that said your time is worth some good amount of money. And I say good amount, because if your do work in a business you should try to maximize it for your talent as the hours click away in your day, week, months and throughout the year. I am amazed how many people waste their time on low productivity items like shuffling papers, thinking about calling their prospects, and flat out not getting out there in front of people that will buy or sell from you. A key component in staying in the Top Producer zone is 1) keep in mind what you are worth dollars per hour and 2) delegate the lower paying tasks to others, ala an assistant, or junior level person on your team. Finally with regard to maximizing your income, stay in the sweet spot with "activities" that make you money and not the trivial many tasks that do NOTHING for your business like taking weeks thinking what your new logo should look like.
I mentioned earlier about life not being all about money. The "other" very important high value of your time thing is doing the activities in your life that are "Not Urgent but Very Important." This will not produce any income for you, but this is the part of life that gives you "dividends of love." Spending time with those in your life, those that just may not be around forever. Attending children's life events. Stop and breathe a little from your money making self.
The first with the dollars per hour thought is to "Make a Life", for you and your family. The second, with the "very important" items, will allow you to "Live a Life." Each is important in their own way. Even with blogging, do so for enjoyment and business, but not till you drop.
Good luck to you in balancing it all out.

Fort Worth is the fifth-largest city in the state of Texas and the 19th-largest in the United States. The city is also large in geographic area as it covers almost 300 square miles and is the county seat of Tarrant County—the 18th most populous county in the country.
As of the 2000 U.S. Census, Fort Worth population was 534,694 (though a 2005 Census estimate placed the population at 624,067). The city is the second-largest cultural and economic center of the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area (colloquially referred to as Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex), which is the largest metropolitan area in Texas as well as the entire South, and the fourth-largest in the United States with a population of 5.7 million in 12 counties.
Fort Worth was founded as a military camp in 1849, named after General William Jenkins Worth. Today, the city is portrayed as more old-fashioned and laid-back than its neighbor, Dallas. -- Source: Wikipedia.com
