The racial makeup of the CDP was 86.78% White, 1.39% African American, 0.48% Native American, 6.38% Asian, 0.19% Pacific Islander, 1.31% from other races, and 3.47% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.80% of the population. There were 8,306 households out of which 38.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.8% were married couples living together, 8.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.8% were non-families. 17.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
