There were 11,053 housing units at an average density of 561.5/km² (1,455.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 90.75% White, 1.16% African American, 0.59% Native American, 1.79% Asian, 0.11% Pacific Islander, 3.64% from other races, and 1.96% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 7.68% of the population. There were 10,689 households out of which 46.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.8% were married couples living together, 10.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.5% were non-families. 15.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
