The racial makeup of the city was 91.60% White, 2.42% African American, 0.09% Native American, 4.33% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.40% from other races, and 1.13% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.52% of the population. There were 7,206 households out of which 37.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.3% were married couples living together, 8.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.0% were non-families. 20.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
