There were 1,115 housing units at an average density of 13.2/km² (34.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.74% White, 0.09% African American, 0.19% Native American, 1.05% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.22% from other races, and 0.68% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.87% of the population. There were 1,088 households out of which 40.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.4% were married couples living together, 5.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.5% were non-families. 11.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 3.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
