There were 1,129 housing units at an average density of 764.8/km² (1,986.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.57% White, 0.85% African American, 0.42% Native American, 0.89% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.39% from other races, and 0.85% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.77% of the population. There were 1,110 households out of which 29.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.5% were married couples living together, 7.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.8% were non-families. 26.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
