Recently the topics of bullying in bullies have received considerable attention in the press. This is surprising as this phenomenon has been with us since the dawn of mankind and will continue to be with us until civilization evolves sufficiently. Despite its popularity as a topic for discussion, I am frustrated as the speakers and writers rarely adequately define it. However, for the adverse effects of bullying to be adequately treated, it is imperative that it be looked at in its basic form.
Bullying is a form of instinctual dominance play. It can be seen in any form of pack behavior. For instance, the pecking order of a flock of birds and the behavior of an alpha dog are two excellent examples. Such dominance behavior is important as it is related to not only individual survival but also survival of the species.

Asthma is a condition that affects a person's breathing. It does so by causing the airways become narrow and swell. Also, additional mucus is produced thereby further hampering the ability for the person to breathe. The symptoms, such as shortness of breath, chest tightness, sleeping problems, wheezing, and coughing, range in severity from minor to extremely severe. While there are many people that may have asthma, medical treatment is normally only given to those with moderate to severe symptoms.
